Over more than two decades of treating pectus deformities, Dr. LoSasso has developed specialized evaluation protocols in collaboration with experienced radiologists, cardiologists, pulmonologists, and other specialists throughout northern New Jersey. These protocols are designed to accurately assess the severity of pectus deformities and determine how they may be affecting cardiac function, lung capacity, exercise performance, posture, and overall quality of life.
Depending on your individual needs, testing may include advanced imaging studies, cardiac evaluations, pulmonary function testing, cardiopulmonary exercise testing (metabolic stress testing), and other specialized assessments.
Patients and families traveling from outside the region often choose to schedule these appointments during the same visit to New Jersey. With advance planning, many evaluations can be completed within just a few days, allowing patients to meet with Dr. LoSasso and obtain the information needed to make informed treatment decisions.
